Parking work without saving it

Set aside puts unfinished work on a shelf, without turning it into a version, and returns your files to your last saved version.

  1. Open the ⋯ menu.

    Next to Changes or History.

  2. Choose Set aside.

    Your unsaved work moves to the shelf.

  3. Bring it back later.

    Pick the latest one, or choose from a list.

If a branch switch is blocked by unsaved work, Krita VCS offers Set aside as the way through.
